Begin with the issue
Choose one topic and describe what you want readers to understand. A useful submission might explain a local experience, compare two approaches or ask a question for a future conversation. An account of your own reasoning is more informative than a list of labels about opponents.
Separate experience from evidence
Your experience can illuminate a concern without proving that every community is the same. Link sources for factual claims and identify uncertainty. Do not include another person’s private details, material you do not have permission to share or accusations you cannot substantiate.
Understand the process
Email submissions are reviewed privately. There is no automatic public comment feed, and sending a message does not guarantee publication. We will seek permission before publishing a reader contribution. Podcast suggestions are welcome, but there is no announced recording schedule or promised guest appearance.
Bring it to the conversation
- What one issue are you explaining?
- Which claims need sources?
- What permission would publication require?
This is an original editorial discussion guide. Its prompts are suggestions, not claims of a measured outcome.
